Three days since my return, and already we're back to the grind. I'm overjoyed to be with Bao again but being away from her for almost two weeks has only emphasised how much work she is. Our apartment hunt has been a source of stress ever since we arrived. Everyone had warned us about it - that it would be exhausting, that we would need to jump through bureaucratic hoops, that even if we found a place we liked, we would not necessarily get it.

The past few days in Geneva have been productive ones, even the weekend where everything shuts down. The Bun handled the fog of jetlag the best amongst the three of us, probably because he napped on and off in the first two days and was usually too exhausted at the end of every day. The movers came in yesterday and swept through our place in an efficient wave, packing up our things so swiftly that I couldn't help but wonder how long it would take J and I if we did it ourselves.
